What is the turnaround time?
Regardless of product type, the production cycle typically ranges from 5 to 15 days. The exact production timeframe will vary based on your requirements, the painting’s dimensions, and our current order volume. Weather conditions may affect the drying time of oil paintings. Expedited shipping requires 3-5 business days, while economy shipping may take up to 4 weeks for transit. Rush shipping typically arrives within approximately 3 weeks after order placement, while economy shipping may take 4-6 weeks. Revision requests and drying time may extend the production cycle. If you require the artwork by a specific date, we offer a delivery date guarantee—simply select your desired delivery date when configuring your painting. After order submission, we will gather feedback from other artists, at which point you will see their estimated production cycles based on your order requirements.

CustomOilMaster is a platform for independent artists and studios, so we do not hire artists from any specific region. Artists who collaborate with us are carefully selected for their high artistic standards and professional ethics. Our platform safeguards customer rights, and should any issues arise, we typically handle them appropriately to fully protect customer interests.
Can I get a draft/preview before the artist begins creating
By default, unless otherwise specified, artists will strictly create based on the content of the photos you provide. If the photo dimensions do not match the dimensions you ordered, the artist will first edit the photo and seek your approval before beginning the creation. For complex or non-standard requests, the artist may provide a Photoshop mockup for your review to ensure the final piece meets your expectations in terms of size and layout. For certain special requests, such as creating artwork in different artistic styles, artists cannot provide previews. However, they will strive to create the artwork according to your instructions and engage in multiple rounds of communication throughout the process until the final piece meets your satisfaction.
Can I change the background of the artwork
Yes! Simply upload the background photo as the second image when configuring your product, and note in the description box that you wish to use that file as the background. If you don’t have a specific background photo, you can also describe your desired color or tone in the description box for your artist to use.

Can I draw myself into another work of art or painting
This service is very popular. To commission a custom painting, simply upload a photo of the artwork you wish to be recreated, along with a portrait photo of yourself or your subject in the same pose and position. Then specify in the description box where you want each person placed within the painting. And it doesn’t have to be another artwork—you can also have people painted onto other photos!

Do you offer free delivery
We offer free shipping most of the time. The prices you see on our website already include shipping costs. If we are unable to provide free shipping due to special circumstances, we will clearly indicate this on the checkout page.

We maintain clear communication with artists throughout the revision process, ensuring you can clearly see exactly what changes have been made. 1. Custom Made Items
All oil paintings are custom-made to order based on your photos, size, style and requirements. As personalized products, returns and refunds for no reason are not supported.
2. Eligible Refund / Repaint
We offer full or partial refund or free repaint in the following cases:
Obvious quality issues such as damaged canvas, peeling paint, deformation or mold.
Significant discrepancy in size, frame material or quantity.
Major deviation from the confirmed design, portrait or composition.
Serious delay caused by our side that makes delivery impossible.

Change of mind, personal taste, style preference or decoration mismatch.
Cancellation after design sketch / draft has been confirmed.
Minor color difference (normal between screen and actual painting).
Low-quality or blurry reference photos provided by the customer.
